Our 📦 Shipping & Processing Policy

At Southern Buffalo Mercantile, every item is handcrafted in small batches with care. We’re not a factory—we’re a family—and your order is made with heart from start to finish.
Processing Time:
- Apothecary Orders typically ship within 6 – 10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). This allows us to ensure freshness, quality, and proper curing or settling time depending on the product. If we will not be available for an extended amount of time ex: vacation, etc. you will receive an away message with an approximate date of return and shipping.
- For other Artisan Orders, shipping is normally 1-2 business days UNLESS it is Customized. That shipping policy will be with those items.
Shipping Rates (Continental U.S)
- We now offer many ways in which to ship your items. You can choose from standard delivery to rush delivery. As well you can choose USPS, UPS, local delivery/pick up.
- *Please note the same 6-10 day processing time still applies! We do like to surprise ourselves from time to time and have a quick turn around.
- We now offer free shipping on orders or $45.00 or more, UNLESS it is an artisan piece and that will be clearly stated as not part of the Free Shipping.
- Local Pick-Up & Delivery (Raleigh, NC Area):
We’re happy to offer local options for our nearby customers within 20 miles of the 27609 zip code, only: a $3.00 service fee will apply
You’ll see these options at checkout if your address qualifies. We’ll contact you directly to coordinate pick-up or drop-off details.

💬 Refund & Return Policy

Due to the nature of our bath and body products and for hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on opened or used items.
That said, we stand behind everything we make. If there is a problem with your order—such as:
1. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we’ll be happy to help.

Please leave a name, email address, and a description of what is wrong with the product. (if possible a picture can be helpful too)
Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or a refund.
