at southern buffalo mercantile, this journey was never really about soap. that was simply the beginning...

Crafted with Heart. Rooted in Nature. Made to Last.

What we're building is rooted in family legacy, healing, and a return to simple old-fashioned ways where slaves, time-tested remedies, and well made goods where a part of everyday life, not just trends.

We believe in sun warmed, honest work, and products made with clean ingredients, whenever and wherever possible. Every soap, soak, salve, and small batch item is crafted with thoughtfully chosen ingredients researched tirelessly.

Genuine care meant to slow life down, restore balance, and reconnect us to what's always worked. I leave you now with one of my favorite quotes...

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

~Ferris Bueller's Day Off

As Southern Buffalo Mercantile continues to grow, new artisan offerings are beginning to find their place on our shelves. From Faith’s Knitted Creations, lovingly loom-knit by Faith as she supports her Exceptional Child Services classroom, to Beamed Roots, a collection of handcrafted wood pieces and engraved goods, each addition reflects the spirit of creativity and resilience behind our brand.

Soon, we will also introduce Southern Buffalo Apothecary a natural extension of our love for traditional remedies, herbs, and simple wellness rituals.

The Mercantile is slowly becoming what it was always meant to be: a place where craftsmanship, family, and thoughtful living come together.
